3U HOLDING AG is the operating management and investment holding company which heads up the 3U Group (hereinafter “3U” for short). The holding company manages and monitors all important activities within the Group. Defining the corporate strategy and directing the development of 3U form part of its tasks. 3U HOLDING AG is in charge of 3U’s accounting and controlling, operates the groupwide risk and opportunities management, including compliance management, and oversees the Legal, Investor Relations and Corporate Communication departments.

The company also allocates financial resources, for capital expenditure and acquisitions, for instance. As part of a contemporary financial strategy, 3U also specifically exploits opportunities in the field of digital assets. The company holds a selected Bitcoin portfolio as a long-term diversification and as an efficient treasury instrument in the medium term.

3U’s capital allocation therefore also reflects the aspiration of detecting technological developments at an early stage and of integrating them responsibly into the corporate strategy. HR policy and development and supporting the Group’s senior management also form part of its remit. The members of the Management Board of 3U HOLDING AG also assume operational responsibility as managing directors of Group companies.

According to the Articles of Association, the business model of 3U HOLDING AG includes the acquisition, management and sale of investments in domestic and foreign companies as well as the management of its own assets.

The focus of 3U’s business activities is predominantly in Germany and neighbouring European countries.
